Designates the monument location in Durand, which sits at the historic crossroads of three major railroads and is home to one of the largest surviving train stations in the United States

Recognizes the vital historical role of the railroad industry in building and developing the United States and the importance of preserving this legacy for current and future generations

Directs copies of the resolution be transmitted to the President of the United States Senate, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and Michigan's congressional delegation
