Encourages motorcycle operators to wear proper protective gear, maintain safe vehicle conditions, follow traffic laws, and use defensive driving techniques.

Urges all drivers to be vigilant and watchful when sharing roadways with motorcyclists, particularly as spring returns riders to Michigan's highways.

Promotes awareness of motorcycle rider education programs available through the Michigan Department of State.
