Declares May 2014 as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in Michigan.

Recognizes that more than 300,000 Michigan residents are of Asian and Pacific Island descent, representing the largest-growing population in the state according to the 2010 U.S. Census.

Acknowledges Asian Pacific American contributions to Michigan's culture, economy, and quality of life across arts, sciences, business, education, and philanthropy.

Honors the diversity of Asian and Pacific Island regions represented in Michigan, including more than thirty countries, sixteen major ethnic groups, and nine languages.

Encourages all Michigan citizens to celebrate the individual and collective contributions of Asian Pacific Americans to the state and nation.
