Recognizes September 24, 2014, as U.S. Marshals Day in Michigan to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Establishes that the U.S. Marshals Service was created by "An act to establish the judicial court of the United States," approved on September 24, 1789, making it the oldest federal law enforcement agency.

Honors the historical duties and responsibilities of U.S. marshals, including executing warrants, protecting federal courts and judges, transporting federal prisoners, protecting witnesses, and conducting fugitive apprehensions.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the director of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Eastern and Western District Offices of Michigan.
