Contends that closure would severely delay mail delivery and eliminate overnight first-class mail service throughout the country.

States the closure would negatively impact residents, local businesses, and the community while violating federal postal service obligations under 39 USC 101(a) to provide prompt, reliable, and efficient services to all areas.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, and Michigan congressional delegation members.
