Amends Section 204 of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (MCL 125.3204) to modify zoning ordinance requirements for residential properties.

Requires zoning ordinances to permit single-family residence occupants to operate home occupations providing instruction in crafts or fine arts within the residence, while allowing regulation of noise, advertising, traffic, and hours of operation.

Establishes the "Homestead Subsistence Farming Act" to permit production of farm products (fruits, vegetables, dairy products, poultry, livestock, and other farm animals) on residential properties for resident consumption or transfer without requiring special use or conditional use permits.

Allows sales of farm products above de minimis value if otherwise authorized by law, and defines "transfer" to include food stand sales, trading, or sharing of de minimis value.
