• Amends the definition of "electric provider" in section 5 to reference alternative electric suppliers as defined in section 10g of 1939 PA 3, rather than those licensed under section 10a.

• Updates references to "Energy Star" and federal agency names to use proper capitalization (Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency) and corrects section citations related to alternative electric suppliers and code of conduct provisions.

• Changes the reference date in the "federal approval" definition from "the effective date of this act" to October 6, 2008, and updates similar date references in section 33 regarding biomass co-firing of existing facilities.
