Amends Michigan Penal Code Section 145n to modify vulnerable adult abuse in the fourth degree to include acts that knowingly or intentionally pose an unreasonable risk of harm to a vulnerable adult, regardless of whether physical harm results.

Expands fourth-degree vulnerable adult abuse to apply to caregivers or persons with authority who commit acts posing unreasonable risk of harm, not just those causing actual physical harm.

Maintains existing penalties for fourth-degree vulnerable adult abuse as a misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year imprisonment or a fine of up to $1,000.00, or both.

Preserves existing protections allowing caregivers to take reasonable action to prevent vulnerable adults from being harmed or harming others.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
