Requires health insurers and health maintenance organizations to cover cranial hair prostheses (wigs) for individuals under 19 years of age who experience hair loss due to medical conditions or medical treatment.

Defines cranial hair prosthesis to include both human and synthetic hair substitutes.

Mandates that cranial hair prosthesis coverage must have dollar limits, deductibles, and coinsurance provisions no less favorable than coverage for other prosthetic devices.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and applies to all policies, certificates, and contracts delivered or renewed in Michigan beginning 90 days after the law's effective date.
