Amends MCL 764.27 to change the age threshold for juvenile jurisdiction from 17 years old to 18 years old in Michigan's criminal procedure code.

Requires law enforcement to immediately bring arrested children under 18 before the family division of circuit court and file a petition as provided in the Probate Code.

Mandates automatic transfer of any criminal case to family division circuit court if it is discovered during pending proceedings that the defendant is under 18 years old.

Removes provisions allowing transfer of cases for 17-year-olds from adult criminal courts back to family court based on specific conditions outlined in the Probate Code.

Takes effect October 1, 2018, and is contingent upon the enactment of House Bills 4947, 4949, 4950, 4951, 4952, 4953, and 4954.
