Clarifies that a conveyance where the grantor is also named as a grantee has the same legal effect as if the grantor were not named among the grantees.

Establishes that a conveyance expressing intent to create a joint tenancy or tenancy by the entireties between the grantor and grantee is effective to create the ownership type specified in the conveyance terms.

Permits creation of joint tenancies with unequal interests and declares such conveyances valid.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
