Amends the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act (1976 PA 399) to add definitions including "bottled drinking water," "capacity assessment," "child care center," and "school."

Establishes a new program requiring the Department of Environmental Quality to assist schools and child care centers in testing for and remedying lead contamination in drinking water from coolers and other sources under their control.

Requires schools and child care centers to conduct periodic sampling and testing of drinking water for lead presence and report results to the department.

Mandates the department make test results publicly available on its website and requires schools and child care centers to make results available for inspection in their administrative offices.

Requires schools and child care centers to repair, replace, remove, or render inoperable any drinking water cooler that is a source of lead contamination.
