Creates new licensing category for anesthesiologist assistants under Michigan's Public Health Code with application fee of $20, annual license fee of $50, and educational limited license fee of $25.

Requires anesthesiologist assistants to complete a graduate-level training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and pass a certifying examination by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants.

Mandates that a supervising anesthesiologist be immediately available at all times and establishes rules limiting duties, requiring documentation, reporting adverse events, and setting appropriate ratios of anesthesiologists to assistants except in emergencies.

Requires anesthesiologist assistants to submit proof of board-required continuing education every 2 years and establishes a state roster maintained by the board containing licensee names, addresses, and other required information.

Restricts use of titles "anesthesiologist assistant" and "A.A." to licensed individuals and takes effect 90 days after enactment.
