Adds new subsection (v) prohibiting vehicles from parking in spaces clearly identified as electric vehicle charging stations unless the vehicle is an electric vehicle connected to the charging station while parked.

Renumbers existing parking prohibition subsections (v) through (aa) to (w) through (bb) to accommodate the new electric vehicle charging station parking restriction.

Maintains all existing parking prohibitions including restrictions on sidewalks, driveways, intersections, fire hydrants, disabled parking spaces, fire lanes, and other designated areas.

Establishes that violations of parking restrictions are civil infractions under Michigan vehicle code section 674.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
