Adds "assisted living facility" to the definition of health facilities and agencies requiring state licensure, defined as housing for older adults or people with disabilities providing supervision, assistance with daily living, coordination of outside health care services, and monitoring of resident health and safety.

Requires assisted living facilities to be licensed under the new Part 212 of the Public Health Code by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

Prohibits use of the term "assisted living facility" or similar abbreviations to describe any health facility or agency unless it is properly licensed under the new regulatory requirements.

Renumbers existing definitions in Section 20102 to accommodate the new assisted living facility definition, with definitions (4) through (6) becoming (5) through (7).

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
