Amends Michigan Penal Code section 316 to include second degree child abuse in the felony murder statute.

Expands the definition of first degree murder to include murder committed during the perpetration of second degree child abuse (previously only first degree child abuse was included).

Persons convicted of first degree murder under these circumstances are punished by life imprisonment without eligibility for parole.

Applies to murders committed during the perpetration or attempted perpetration of enumerated felonies including arson, sexual conduct, child abuse, controlled substance offenses, robbery, home invasion, and other specified crimes.
