Amends the definition of "elective abortion" in the Abortion Insurance Opt-Out Act to clarify that physician-performed terminations to protect a woman's health or avert her death are excluded from the definition.

Expands the exception for medically necessary abortions by explicitly stating physicians may terminate pregnancies when the woman's physical condition necessitates termination to "protect the woman's health" or "avert her death."

Modifies the definition of "health care corporation" to reference the nonprofit health care corporation definition in the 1980 PA 350 reform act rather than narrowly defining it as "nonprofit."

Updates the definition of "qualified health plan" to reference 42 USC 18021 instead of the specific section of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
