Allows a decedent to expressly disinherit one or more children in their will by stating the child takes nothing or less than $10.00 from the estate.

Defines "disinherit" as a decedent's will expressly stating that a child takes nothing or receives an amount less than $10.00 from the estate.

If a child is disinherited, only non-disinherited children are entitled to the $10,000 household personal property exemption (furniture, automobiles, appliances, and personal effects).

Exempt property rights and assets needed to make up deficiencies have priority over most estate claims, except administration costs, funeral expenses, homestead allowance, and family allowance.

Changes statutory language from "shall" to "must" regarding adjustment of the $10,000 amount per section 1210, and takes effect 90 days after enactment.
