Updates references throughout the Adult Foster Care Act from "department of social services" to "department of licensing and regulatory affairs" to reflect current organizational structure.

Maintains existing definitions and regulatory standards for adult foster care facilities, family homes, small group homes, large group homes, and camps serving adults aged 60+ or those with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or physical disabilities.

Preserves department authority to promulgate rules on facility operations, staff qualifications, financial ability, supervision requirements, premises safety, and resident rights, with fire safety rules promulgated by the Bureau of Fire Services for facilities serving more than 6 adults.

Requires fire safety certificate approval from Bureau of Fire Services before licensing adult foster care facilities with capacity exceeding 6 adults and requires certification approval for specialized programs serving mentally ill or developmentally disabled residents.

Adds new requirement for department and fire services to notify local city/village/township clerks and fire chiefs contemporaneously when an adult foster care facility receives emergency closure summary suspension order.
