Department of Corrections must provide reentry services (excluding housing) to prisoners discharged due to overturned convictions or sentences for up to 2 years following discharge, consistent with services provided to parolees.

Department must provide transitional reentry housing for up to 1 year following discharge to eligible prisoners, on the same basis as housing provided to parolees.

Department must provide vital documents including birth certificates to prisoners discharged due to conviction reversal, vacation, or overturn.

Department must assign staff to ensure timely delivery of reentry services, housing, and documents to eligible prisoners.

Prisoners whose convictions are reinstated or who are resentenced and returned to custody must repay the department for all reentry services received, with the amount to be determined by the department.
