Prohibits possessing an imitation firearm in a public place, including BB guns, toy guns, and replicas that resemble real firearms in coloration and appearance.

Prohibits removing, disguising, or altering the colored markings required on imitation firearms under state or federal law.

Prohibits adding or installing required colored markings on a firearm in a way that makes it look like an imitation firearm.

Violation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days imprisonment or a fine of up to $1,000, or both.

Exempts manufacturers, importers, and distributors of imitation firearms, as well as lawful use in motion pictures, television, theatrical productions, and other entertainment.
