Department of Health shall establish and maintain a publicly accessible internet database of health facilities and agencies serving as a central clearinghouse for information.

Database shall include facility name, address, telephone number, hours of operation, license numbers with effective and expiration dates, violations of state health code, disciplinary actions, complaint investigation results, and abuse/neglect investigation results.

Database shall include violations of municipal health and safety ordinances based on information provided by counties, cities, villages, and townships to the department.

Department shall not include information in the database that is prohibited from disclosure under state or federal law.

Department shall publicize the database availability and access information through press releases and other media; bill takes effect 90 days after enactment.
