House Resolution 374 honors Representative Ken Goike as he concludes his final term representing the Thirty-third District in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Goike has owned Goike Trucking and Excavating since 1981 and served Macomb County residents through roles including president of the Armada Fair and membership in the Lions, Knights of Columbus, and Macomb 4-H.

Goike served in the House beginning in 2010 and chaired the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, served as vice chair of the House Committee on Tourism and Outdoor Recreation, and held memberships on Insurance, Natural Resources, Appropriations, and Transportation and Infrastructure committees.

The House commends Goike for his notable contributions to the legislative body and the state, with particular recognition of his work strengthening the administrative rules process.

A copy of the resolution shall be transmitted to Representative Goike as evidence of the House's gratitude and best wishes for his future.
