Requires school district boards, intermediate school district boards, and public school academy boards to permit grade-level instruction in America's founding documents and documents contributing to the nation's representative government, Bill of Rights, free-market economic system, and patriotism.

Prohibits school officials and employees from censoring or restraining instruction in American history, heritage, Michigan state history, or heritage based on religious references contained in original source documents, writings, speeches, proclamations, or records.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
