Establishes tiered misdemeanor penalties for illegal possession or taking of game, ranging from $50-$500 fines and up to 90 days imprisonment for general violations, with higher penalties for protected species like moose ($1,000-$5,000 fines and 90 days to 1 year imprisonment).

Imposes hunting license suspensions of 3-15 years for violations involving deer, bear, wild turkey, wolf, elk, and moose, with lifetime bans for second offenses involving elk or moose.

Creates felony penalties for buying or selling game or protected animals on subsequent offenses.

Increases penalties for using illegally constructed snares or cable restraints to $1,000 for the first offense and $250 for each subsequent offense.

Effective February 14, 2016, contingent upon enactment of Senate Bills 244 and 246 of the 98th Legislature.
