Establishes the Michigan Blue Alert Act as the official response to reports of serious injury or death of law enforcement officers in Michigan.

Requires the Department of State Police to establish and maintain the Michigan Blue Alert Plan designed to rapidly disseminate information to radio and television stations throughout the state.

Activates blue alerts only when a law enforcement officer is killed or seriously injured, a suspect is identified, the suspect poses a serious risk to the public and other officers, and suspect information (name, physical description, or vehicle details) is available for broadcast.

Requires the investigating law enforcement agency to recommend activation of the blue alert to the state police before implementation.

Takes effect February 1, 2016 (90 days after enactment on November 3, 2015).
