Exempts firearm safety devices from Michigan's use tax, including safes, lock boxes, trigger locks, barrel locks, and other items designed to enhance home firearm safety.

Requires firearm sellers to provide written notice to purchasers and post conspicuous notices at points of sale stating that firearm safety devices are exempted from sales and use tax through December 31, 2017.

Exemption is temporary and repeals effective January 1, 2018.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
