Incorporates the seventeenth edition of "Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products" published by the American Public Health Association as the reference standard for dairy product examination

Defines key terms related to milk production and processing including producer, processor, receiving station, sample transfer instrument, sanitary standards, sell-by date, and single service containers

Became effective September 26, 2016, with a 90-day implementation period from the date of enactment

Applies to Michigan's regulation of grade A milk and milk products production, transportation, handling, processing, delivery, and sale under 2001 PA 266
