Expands the definition of "employee" under the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act to explicitly include individuals performing work primarily for educational purposes, such as student interns, regardless of whether they receive payment or compensation.

Clarifies that "employer" includes the state and political subdivisions that employ one or more persons.

Modifies the definition of "imminent danger" to specify that unlabeled or improperly documented hazardous chemical containers constitute an imminent danger after being tagged under section 31 of the act.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
