Allows prescribers and pharmacists to issue prescriptions for and dispense opioid antagonists to individuals at risk of overdose, family members, friends, or other potential assistants.

Permits school boards to receive opioid antagonist prescriptions for purposes of school emergency preparedness under the revised school code.

Allows non-patient entities to receive opioid antagonist prescriptions if they act at prescriber direction, properly store the medication, dispense only under valid patient prescriptions, and perform duties without compensation.

Protects school employees who are licensed registered nurses or trained in opioid antagonist administration from liability when possessing and administering antagonists dispensed to their school board.

Provides liability protection for prescribers, dispensing prescribers, and pharmacists who properly store and dispense opioid antagonists in good faith and with reasonable care.
