• Exempts veterans with valid government-issued veteran identification (such as a driver's license marked with veteran status) from paying recreation passport fees for state parks and state-operated public boating access sites.

• Requires veterans or their passengers to produce veteran identification upon request by conservation officers or park and recreation officers.

• Applies the veteran exemption to both nonresident and resident motor vehicles entering state parks and designated boating access sites.

• Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
