Amends Michigan Vehicle Code to require standard design registration plates to display the phrase "Great Lakes State" inscribed beneath the registration numbers.

Maintains existing registration plate requirements including reflectorized material, visibility standards, and the ability to display expiration month and year via tabs or stickers.

Allows the department to incorporate the Pure Michigan brand or successor marketing brand used in state promotion, travel, and tourism campaigns as part of the standard registration plate design.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, contingent upon Senate Bill No. 845 of the 98th Legislature being enacted into law.
