Allows registered nonprofit faith-based, business, professional, civic, and community organizations to enter Michigan correctional facilities to provide inmate reentry services including counseling, housing and job placement information, and money management assistance.

Requires the Department of Corrections to develop and adopt policies and procedures for screening, approving, and registering organizations and their representatives, with discretion to deny approval or facility entry based on screening guidelines.

Mandates the department post a telephone number and application for registration on its public website for organizations seeking to provide inmate reentry services.

Prohibits the department from endorsing or sponsoring faith-based reentry programs or specific religious messages, and prohibits requiring inmate participation in faith-based programs.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
