Changes "pursuant" to "according to" in the definition of "Adult" regarding placement in adult foster care family homes or small group homes under section 5(6) or (8) of 1973 PA 116.

Revises the definition of "Adult foster care facility" to specify that a single entity or commonly owned and controlled entities must provide foster care to adults, with exceptions under the Continuing Care Community Disclosure Act (2014 PA 448, MCL 554.917).

Updates references to rename the "Department of Community Health" to "Department of Health and Human Services" in the exclusions for hospitals for the mentally ill and facilities for the developmentally disabled.

Clarifies exclusions for county infirmaries by changing "social services or family independence agency" to "health and human services" under section 55 of the Social Welfare Act.

Expands the exclusion for alcohol and substance abuse rehabilitation centers to include "substance abuse disorder" rehabilitation centers.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
