Designates June 27, 2016, as Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day in Michigan.

Acknowledges that more than 2 million U.S. service members have deployed since September 11, 2001, with many experiencing multiple combat deployments that place them at high risk for PTSI.

Notes that 10,000 veterans are expected to return to Michigan annually for the next three to five years and that over 500,000 veterans sought PTSI treatment at Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers in fiscal year 2012.

Urges the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency and Adjutant General to continue educating service members, veterans, their families, and the public about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of post-traumatic stress injury.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the Governor, Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, and Adjutant General.
