Recognizes GreenStone Farm Credit Services on the 100th Anniversary of the Farm Credit System, which was established on July 17, 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Farm Loan Act.

Acknowledges that Michigan's agriculture industry contributes approximately $100 billion annually to the state's economy with more than 50,000 farms employing hundreds of thousands of people.

Notes that GreenStone Farm Credit Services is the largest agricultural lender in Michigan, operating as a cooperative with nearly 24,000 members, 36 branches, and nearly $8 billion in assets.

Recognizes GreenStone's provision of financial services including loans, equipment and building leases, insurance products, and accounting services to support rural communities and farmers.

Directs that copies of this resolution be transmitted to GreenStone Farm Credit Services, the Farm Credit System, the U.S. Farm Credit Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
