Amends section 17752 of the Public Health Code to reorganize and clarify prescription preservation and disclosure requirements for pharmacists and dispensing prescribers.

Adds new subsection (3) prohibiting pharmacists from disclosing to any person that a patient has a mental illness when dispensing prescription drugs, with "mental illness" defined by the Mental Health Code (1974 PA 258, MCL 330.1400).

Renumbers existing subsections and changes mandatory language from "shall" to "must" in sections describing prescription copy procedures, cancellation records, and copy markings.

Maintains existing 5-year prescription preservation requirement and provisions governing who may access prescriptions without patient authorization (patients, other pharmacists, prescribers, health professionals, government enforcement agencies, courts, and approved research).

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
