Prohibits the state and political subdivisions from requiring health care professionals to provide patients with information that is not medically accurate or to deliver medical services that are not evidence-based and appropriate.

Prohibits the state and political subdivisions from preventing health care professionals from providing patients with medically accurate information or evidence-based medical services that are appropriate for the patient.

Defines "medically accurate information" as information verified by medical research using accepted scientific methods, recognized as correct by leading medical organizations, or recommended in guidelines of nationally recognized accrediting organizations.

Defines "evidence-based" as treatment approaches proven effective through appropriate empirical analysis and "health care professional" as individuals licensed, certified, or registered under the Public Health Code.

Preserves existing professional standards of care and does not alter the duty of health care professionals to meet applicable standards of care; takes effect 90 days after enactment.
