Amends Michigan's consumer protection law to add section 3k, prohibiting unauthorized persons from providing veterans' benefit services unless they are government employees, federally accredited individuals, or representatives of recognized veterans' services organizations.

Requires persons receiving compensation for veterans' benefit services to disclose that they are not affiliated with government agencies, that services may be available free elsewhere, and that benefit levels are not guaranteed.

Prohibits receiving compensation for referring veterans to accredited individuals and prohibits guaranteeing specific benefit levels.

Requires all advertisements for veterans' pension or medical benefit events to include a specific disclosure stating the event is not sponsored by the VA, Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, or recognized veterans' organizations, in the same font size as the word "veteran."

Becomes effective 90 days after enactment (September 24, 2018).
