Prohibits school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies from denying student participation in interscholastic athletic activities based on transfer to the school, regardless of transfer reason, effective with the 2017-2018 school year.

Prevents school boards and academy directors from adopting resolutions or agreements that would prevent compliance with the transfer student athletic participation requirement.

Voids all provisions of any previously adopted resolutions or agreements that prevented transfer students from participating in interscholastic athletics.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
