Prohibits mental health professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with minors in Michigan.

Defines "conversion therapy" as practices attempting to change an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behavior, expression, or reduce romantic attractions toward same-gender individuals.

Excludes from the definition counseling that supports gender transitions, provides acceptance and support, facilitates identity exploration, or addresses unsafe sexual practices without seeking to change sexual orientation.

Subjects mental health professionals who violate this prohibition to disciplinary action and licensing sanctions for unprofessional conduct under MCL 333.16221 and 333.16226.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
