Requires school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies to adopt and implement a policy addressing sexual abuse of children, with policies substantially consistent with task force recommendations under the child protection law.

Mandates policies must address age-appropriate curriculum for grades pre-K through 5, staff training on child sexual abuse and disclosure response, parent education on warning signs, counseling resources for affected students, and review of mandatory reporting systems and compliance.

Requires schools to provide instruction, training, and information covering methods to increase awareness of sexual abuse warning signs, actions victims can take to obtain assistance, and available counseling options for affected students.

Mandates parents or guardians receive advance notice of instruction content, opportunity to review materials, and notification of their right to have their child excused from the instruction without penalty or academic credit loss.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
