• Allows prescribers to issue prescriptions and pharmacists to dispense auto-injectable epinephrine and epinephrine to school boards and other authorized entities without requiring an individual patient name.

• Permits school employees who are licensed registered nurses or trained in epinephrine administration to possess and administer epinephrine dispensed to school boards under the bill's provisions.

• Requires authorized entities acquiring epinephrine supplies to designate a responsible employee, store supplies accessibly and per manufacturer instructions, and complete anaphylaxis training programs initially and every 2 years thereafter.

• Provides liability immunity for prescribers, pharmacists, authorized entities, employees, and training organizations acting in compliance with the bill's requirements, except in cases of willful or wanton misconduct.

• Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent upon passage of HB 5593.
