Amends Michigan's school aid law to clarify that pupils engaged in internships or work experiences under section 1279h of the revised school code shall not be considered less than full-time equated pupils solely because of reduced class hours needed for those activities, including necessary travel time.

Maintains that full-time equated membership calculations for pupils in postsecondary institutions remain consistent with the new internship and work experience provisions.

Effective date is 90 days after enactment (September 11, 2018), contingent on House Bill No. 4106 also being enacted into law.

Expands the definition of membership in section 6(4)(q) of the Public School Code to ensure students participating in approved work-based learning opportunities are counted as full-time for state aid funding purposes.
