Prohibits importation of live cervids (deer) into Michigan effective 90 days after enactment, with exceptions for cervids consigned directly to state or federally inspected slaughter facilities.

Requires owners of cervids imported before the effective date to maintain detailed records for 7 years demonstrating compliance with individual identification, brucellosis testing, and tuberculosis testing requirements.

Cervids 6 months or older must originate from certified brucellosis-free herds or test negative for brucellosis within 30 days before importation.

Cervids 1 year or older must originate from official tuberculosis accredited/qualified/monitored herds or comply with specific isolation and testing protocols including two negative tuberculosis tests at least 90 days apart.

Cervids with positive or exposed status to tuberculosis or brucellosis may only be imported with written permission from the director; bill takes effect only if House Bills 5770 and 5772 are also enacted.
