Amends the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act to prohibit chemical extraction of plant resin from marihuana plants, replacing the previous specific prohibition on butane extraction with a broader ban on all chemical extraction methods.

Maintains existing restrictions on marihuana use including prohibitions on use while operating vehicles, in schools and correctional facilities, in public places, and by individuals without a serious or debilitating medical condition.

Establishes a $500 fine for fraudulently misrepresenting facts about medical marihuana use to law enforcement to avoid arrest or prosecution, in addition to any other applicable penalties.

Clarifies that the act does not require health insurers, employers, or private property owners to accommodate marihuana use in workplaces, during employment, or in rental properties if smoking or cultivation is prohibited in the lease.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment.
