Amends 1913 PA 350 to clarify that county hospital trustees must qualify by taking oath within 10 days of appointment and organize by electing a chairperson, secretary, and other necessary officers.

Allows each trustee to receive compensation for attending board meetings and mileage reimbursement (not to exceed 10 cents per mile) as approved by the county board of commissioners, plus reimbursement for other necessary expenses.

Grants the board of hospital trustees exclusive control over hospital fund expenditures, site selection, building construction or purchase, and grounds/facility management, with all funds deposited to the county treasury and paid out only on properly authenticated vouchers.

Requires the board to appoint a chief executive officer to manage the hospital and may appoint an attorney as legal advisor.

Prohibits trustees from having personal pecuniary interests in purchases of supplies, equipment, or materials costing more than $500 per year unless obtained through competitive bidding.
