• Creates the Michigan Council on Future Mobility within the state transportation department to provide policy recommendations to state leaders regarding autonomous and highly automated vehicle development and enhanced personal mobility across all transportation modes.

• Permits vehicle platoons to operate on state streets and highways upon filing an operational plan with the state police and transportation department, with approval occurring automatically after 30 days unless rejected by either agency.
