Adds "stepsibling" to the definition of "sibling" in Michigan's juvenile code, allowing stepsiblings to be considered siblings for purposes of foster care, kinship guardianship, and adoptive placement decisions.

Expands the sibling definition to include the American Indian or Alaskan native child's tribal code or custom definitions of sibling relationships.

Requires reasonable efforts to place siblings removed from their home together in foster care, kinship guardianship, or adoptive placement, unless jointly placing them would be contrary to their safety or well-being.

Requires monthly visitation or ongoing interaction between separated siblings unless the supervising agency documents that contact would be contrary to the safety or well-being of any sibling.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
