Amends the Michigan Penal Code Section 222 to add a new definition of "misdemeanor involving domestic violence" that includes violations punishable by imprisonment for not more than 1 year involving spouses, former spouses, dating partners, co-parents, or household members.

Renumbers existing definitions in Section 222 from (f) through (m) to (g) through (n) to accommodate the new domestic violence definition.

Defines "brandish" as pointing, waving about, or displaying a firearm in a threatening manner with intent to induce fear in another person.

Maintains existing definitions for firearm-related terms including pistol, rifle, shotgun, short-barreled rifle, and short-barreled shotgun.

Bill is contingent on enactment of either Senate Bill (blank) or House Bill 6134 of the 99th Legislature.
